Every time i click on a forum topic, the page then locks-up for 10-15 seconds before i can use any of the controls, scroll bars etc. it is as if it is, maybe, running some sort of script (judging by the CPU in taskmanager). anyway i can stop this at all?

What browser, version and operating system are you using? Works fine for me using Firefox or IE7 and XP or Vista.
