THey will be moving up to 6.25% at start of month ive been promised after interest rate rise
Also
They still allow in transfers.
BUT
Has taken fricken ages to get mine opened and get transfers in. (Banks have up to 30 days to move it)
But barclays have said they will pay interest on day cheque is sent

which type of Barclays ISA does offer this rate? the mini cash ISA's current rate is only 4.96%?
Mine is a mini cash ISA and my interest rate is 4.96%. Only problem with the barclays ISA it is very hard to get at!! You have to give them a call to transfer money from one account to another.

Why bother having a cash ISA if you accept rates like 4.96% total cr@p , NSI direct ISA now 6.3% plus others doing over 6% some allowing transfers in { not NSI though }.
Barclays 4.96% =
................ dump them , there only interested in shareholder value .

I meant Abbey..never post and drink or just randomly have a stupid day..
But i have to agree - why havea cash ISA at 5%...you losing money there..!
