Hi guys,

Looking to buy here....a deal put forward by the guys at www.property-investment-deals.com - anyone bought here? I have bought with them before and been pleased with...but cant find out loads of info on Fuerte.

Prices seem good....and can borrow 100% based on valuations.

I've not been out for about 10 years with the wife - remember some nice beaches and being hot!

Any thoughts on would be great - prices seem to be going up nicely, and with 100% borrowing seems ideal opp to grow portfolio?

Fuerteventura's prices are stagnant and are expected to fall similar to other Spanish prices.

The evaluations are usually faked by agreements between banks and assessors and builders/sellers.

Fuerteventura has very nice places but the Brits are buying in the ugliest places like Caleta de Fuste or Costa Antigua. Costa Calma is popular with germans andf it is a real gem.

I am also very interested in purchasing in Fuerteventura for my own use but I wait till after the crash.

The prices in Fuerteventura are as big as the ones in Tenerife, anybody who tells you otherwise is a liar.

Loadsamoney, do us all a favour and go and sell your overpriced property elsewhere. It's as clear as day that you are selling not buying.

Hi Rondy,

Was led to believe was totally different market to south of Spain ? When last went to Marbella was all cranes and huge apartment blocks.

Fuerte seemed to be pretty unspoilt and all single storey developments.

Just spoken to work colleague who went in Feb...said stayed in a new Sheraton there....think I'll go out there and check out for myself.

If can get 100% borrowing and rents are decent...and I can go out rest of time still looks attractive....will check out Costa Calma when out, cheers for tip.

Fuerteventura is getting hugely overbuilt! If you wait 3 years, you might get a good bargain. But if you need to buy now, it is also OK.

Not a good combination, what with the beaches being littered with drowned Africans and all.
Unless the BBC radio monkeys were lying, a couple of weeks back.

I got offered this deal too. I turned it down as it is cash flow negative so the figures from an investment point of view do not stick together at all. The development is also a refurb rather than a new build and you only have to google other EA's in the area to get better deals. My overall oconlusion was that the deal was crap

I'm looking for a winter nest for my retirement and Fuerteventura fits the bill. I'm looking towards 2013 - do I buy now or wait?
