I'm currently paying into a 3 year share save scheme that matures shortly.
Does anyone know if the value of stocks in a company usually go down straight after these schemes, from members immediately selling, or does the reverse happen? (Or is their no pattern?)
Any advice welcome.
I thought usually share save schemes were run on an annual basis, and that one scheme closing would happen at approximately the same time as another issue starts up? This is certainly the case at my company.
It depends on what proportion of share capital you're talking about I suppose, but if you work for a large company the effect will be pretty minimal.
