I would like to thank property borders for geting back my deposit back from essential who tried too keep hold of it for ever.

This in a condo-hotel that I was very upbeat about as can be seen from my posts, but has now turned into a joke.

I have seen many complaints about essential on many forums, have any of you got your money back?

Its good this thread is still going strong, a shame essential are useless messing people around with deposits.

I am now looking at other resorts in Morocco like the paradise golf and Beach resort apartments, profits for rental are being quoted at 13,000 Euros per year for an investment of just 30k, it all seems to stack up if correct.

Has anyone else bought on here?

I agree its a big shame, I feel very let down by Essential Estates or MISTAKES.

I will also look into more detail at the Paradise aparthotel if thats what you mean Freeman? I got the email from property borders with details
but have not made my mind up yet, taking more time this time round.

Freeman, this yield cannot be correct. Beleive me Ived spent years looking for such yields, they do not exist. Developers have no idea what rental will be. Big developers like Fadesa only promised about 3% on the Magnum properties in Saidia. Fadesa have a reputation so have to be more accurate than tin pot developers.

Think also about REPATRIATION of funds. Saidia developers Property Logic are setting up a system which they claim will make repatriation straightforward.

Otherwise you or worst still your next of kin could face a wall of never ending red tape. Saidia will have onsite lawyers assist with future sales matters. Theres more to investing than a cheap price
