Over the comming months i ve begun to realise what a big powerhouse Russia is becomming

Whilst the west, i.e. the americans are starting to feel bloated with their debt laden economy, and now withdrawing from iraq, Russia has been slowly recovering from what appeared to be a fall from grace since the cold war.

There has been NO GOOD news comming out of russia lately for anyone that follows the markets - big businesses have been stung due to rights to mine gold, extract oil/gas. Smaller countries that get fossil fuels from russia are now being held to ransom... and being asked to pay higher and higher prices.
And now a ex russian spy has been killed - with little cooperation from moscow....

I dont know where this leads, but this is a definite shift in power.

Buy Gold ? i dont know? But under the present leader Putin, I cannot see how things are going to get better.

Indeed - and Gazprom are seemingly involved in the LSE after the company was apparently stolen from Yukos.

It looks like they have a huge power play not being highly placed in the media.

Last Xmas we had the pipeline deal issues throughout Europe.

Interestingly Roman Abramovich seemed to do well from the sale of state owned wealth.
