,I'm hoping to buy a small holiday apartment in Germany (in either Goerlitz, a town on the German-Polish border) or within one hour of Dresden, preferably by train as I don't drive.
My maximum budget (including legal fees, taxes, etc.) would be about EUR25,000.
The flat would not be for investments purposes, but for private use, although it would be useful if I could rent it out to other holidaymakers for a few weeks every year to help with the running costs.
Any help/advice would be much appreciated, especially from anybody with German experience or contacts.
