Does anyone think that this might be a good bet given Turkey's probable entry to the EU within the next few years?

Hmm - must admit the thought had crossed my mind - certainly a lot more interesting that buying a purpose built flat in Bulgaria - not sure about red tape and taxes - watched a programme on buying in france this week that scared the shit out of me - now is probably the time before the luxury apartments start springing up everywhere.
