Sorry not to be exactly precise, but I'm seeing many stocks forming bullish patterns and some break outs too.

Keep finding ascending triangles (a personal fav) and also some breakouts on symetrical triangles.

Anyone else notice the same?

It is a common oversight for people to equate the FTSE with the FTSE100 when there is also the FTSE250 (101st to 350th largest companies). While the FTSE100 is just short of 4 year highs, the FTSE250 is just short of the alltime high. While the FTSE250 did fall more more than the FTSE100 in October, in the last few days it has been flying like crazy and, as often happens, outperforming the FTSE100 by a big margin.

No it's not. The FTSE IS the FTSE100.

the word is "arsed".

The only obvious thing around here is your inability to stick to the topic.

And there is no point calling me a "WUM" as I have no clue what it means.

Kind of a mix of all really. I keep with solid companies with good earnings tracks, and use a bit of TA and chart pattern type stuff to plan entry and exit points. I mainly stick to what I regard as fairly reliable chart patterns.

Interesting looking back on the original post.

FTSE closed up 73.

Gotta be some profit taking tomorrow. But fingers crossed for some more action soon.
