I am in proces of purchasing land in Berlin. I fancy another modest punt, but think I need to give consideration to another location (risk spread).

I wonder'ed if anyone knows some Bavarian or similar tourist spots, heavy on the mountains and um - pah?

FRIBURG in the south is a big uni town and really near the mountains with lots of ski ing cross country walks etc

Hamburg is the only place to go in Germany. Bavaria is not really Germany, anyway.
