Full Version: Interest Rates Down And Inflation Up?
House Price Crash forum > Investment > Investment in general

Lots of people are predicting further IR drops and with it a rise in inflation.
So how do we stop this eating away at our deposits?
I'd like to at least keep up with inflation or better it if possible.
Savings rates will likely drop with the IRs.
Not sure about gold or stock market. Bit risky for my liking.
So what is a decent low risk investment if the above scenario happens?

Holding GBP and US dollar is now far riskier than holding gold.

Protect yourself, buy some gold.
