Hi everyone

This is my first post to this website. I am interested in pooled property investment funds. Essentially I want to get exposure some of the developing markets in Eastern Europe, the Far East etc. At the end of the day the next Yuppy Boom is going to be in these engines of economic growth and will inevitably translate into increased demand for housing.

Whether this is already in the price is another matter but what kind of pooled residential (or commercial funds) exist? I looked at the Black Sea Fund at the time of its launch (but decided against it) but have not seen many others apart from the larger funds, primarily commercial aimed, at pension funds rather than individual investors.

Anything gratefully received.

Thanks

Cosmo

Dear Cosmo,

I am putting together a fund which will be located offshore to minimise the tax burden for the operation. We will be buying land in Bulgaria primarily and obtaining building permission, then selling on. Some developemt too if returns look good. Still plenty of opportunity inland and in the south mountains of Bulgaria.
I have a website, but the last post I sent was deleted since it looked too commercial.
Please PM or email me for details and I will provide you with the URL.

Best wishes,
Jeremy
