Fairly sure...
Think of how stupid the average person is, then realise that half the people are dumber than that.

I'm not saying that there isn't a secret cabal of lizards from space running everything, I'm just saying maybe its for the best.

If the good times lasted forever, then they wouldn't be called "the good times", they would just be called "the times".

I`m not so sure that this is a serious thread
Jack Palance: "Do you know what the secret of life is? One thing. Just one thing. You stick to that and everything else don't mean shit."
Billy Crystal: "Yeah, but what's that one thing?"
Jack Palance: "That's what you've got to figure out."

"There is no effective way to meaningfully reduce emissions without negatively impacting a large part of the economy"
Alan Greenspan 2007 Former Chairman of the Federal Reserve

"The gross national product includes air pollution and advertising for cigarettes and ambulances to clear our highways of carnage. It counts special locks for our doors and jails for the people who break them. GNP includes the destruction of the redwoods and the death of Lake Superior. It grows with the production of napalm, and missiles and nuclear warheads... It measures everything, in short, except that which makes life worthwhile"
Senator Robert Kennedy
