What a sh!t property!

It's the sort of thing that should be sold by auction for about 50k.

A not especially overpriced house for the location at 120k but.... When is a small 2nd bedroom not really a bedroom at all?

^ Essentially a one bedroomed house. That 2nd bedroom is just a store room. The vendors could have made a much more spacious bathroom with a separate shower cubicle for that bit of 'wow factor'.
But oh no - in Britain we put value on property on 'how many bedrooms a home has' rather than use of space.

I think this one has been marketed once or twice in the last year or two. Someone pass the smelling salts - this modest family home is on for a staggering 175k!

Norwich 175k+

This dated house with electric warm air heating is quite close to the University of East Anglia and is in close proximity to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals, plus research centres. The vendor is probably using that to justify the high price.

Its Sheffield, a tiny shithole in what looks, from streetview, like the mother of shitholes. I wouldn't part with 30k for that. What the fvck is wrong with the UK FFS!!!
As I wandered in the darkness a voice came unto me, it said "smile, be happy, things could get worse". So I smiled and was happy and behold, things did get worse.

"If tyranny and oppression come to this land, it will be in the guise of fighting a foreign enemy. Of all the enemies to public liberty, war is perhaps the most to be dreaded because it comprises and develops the germ of every other. It looks like its been "developed" hence the unrealistic asking price.

We have got into the habit of admiring colossal bandits, whose opulence is revered by the entire world, yet whose existence, once we stop to examine it, proves to be one long crime repeated ad infinitum, but those same bandits are heaped with glory, honors, and power, their crimes are hallowed by the law of the land, whereas, as far back in history as the eye can see -- and history, as you know, is my business -- everything conspires to show that a venial theft, especially of inglorious foodstuffs, such as bread crusts, ham, or cheese, unfailingly subjects its perpetrator to irreparable opprobium, the automatic dishonor, and inexpiable shame, and this for two reasons, first because the perpetrator of such an offense is usually poor, which in itself connotes basic unworthiness, and secondly because his act implies, as it were, a tacit reproach to the community. - Celine

Was about to say thats almost a london price, but then I saw 'store' - missing from all london flats. Clearly a bargain.

I've just re-vistited the toilet. No not like that, Funky Gibbons 2012 winning entry.

It's still for sale. It's still 290k. It deserves a bump.

Tell me all about it and start at the end.

^ At 290k I am not surprised. A lot of money for an open plan WC and shower room.

I've just spotted this sad looking maisonette. Apart from a splash of white paint and mandatory double glazing, it seems that little has changed since its construction in the early 1960s. The kitchen looks original with the belfast sink. No central heating either. Asking price is 97,500 which no doubt the Estate Agent will try to justify with it's central location. No carpets - although these may have been removed prior to marketing.

Brilliant. The floorplan may be the most amusing thing I've ever seen..... Is it even legal to be able to cr@p without a door to keep it all in? Seem to remember you have to have two closin doors between that and the food area.....?
