I think everyone is entitled to a full refund fron the French President, Nicolas Sarkozy, as he did say last month that everything had been sorted out with the European debt crisis.
Bankers may well have acted as if they’ve been sitting in the casino during the boom years. But it was a state-owned casino, with governments as the croupiers, and central bankers behind the bar giving out free booze.

We'll have more on the case of Bo Xilai and the alleged murder of a British businessman; plus Spanish meltdown, plus John McCain on Syria

It's Mason. The man who can actually be arsed to get out and speak to ordinary people. I'll be watching.

Disappointing I was expecting more from Newsnight. I did get the impression that the Spanish ambassador doesn't believe a word he was saying.

Agreed. Was expecting them to come back to it with Mason but nothing! They will have a longer episode when Spain blows up I guess.
