Looks like a lot has been done to it, but really!

I'm not saying that the market WILL pick up this year, but in my opinion 2012 is the last year of low house prices....

Yup. Overlooking the football pitches and close to two pubs.

Just down the road a tiny bit and you reach Harpurhey.

Was dragged up in Moston, used to walk past here every school day on the way up to North Manny.

Sarah, Where I live now that kind of money gets you this*, and I can personally guarantee no smackheads or burnt out cars in the fields. Or am I being unfair, has the area really improved that much since 1989?

*Granted only 3 beds and not as bling but on the same scale

The problem is in Moston I imagine the average wage is minimum. It's got a huge range of social issues still - possibly more now than then but I think less drugs.

This one will not sell at that price - as you point out there are nicer places to spend that sort of money.

Ace garden on that one!

Harperhey is still just down the road and Moston Lane is a wierd place with lots of cheapy shops and "send money abroad" shops.

The gentrification of New Moston hasn't rubbed off on that way. And even New Moston has scumbag chavs.

So 14 months after your original post Sarah, still on the market and not a penny knocked off it. I'd love to know how many viewings they've had. I'd be stunned if they'd had more than 5.

Moston is a shithole. No two ways about it, this property will never sell at that price. Some sucker may bite at the £350k mark.
