Perhaps he jumped before Osborne pushed him after the election?

2 years at the helm big payoff no doubt for his successes
So where are we after a decade of New Labour? an economy that depends on delivering pizzas to each other, doing up our houses in the hope that we can sell them at a profit, a public sector boom, car boot sales everywhere and the biggest total debt in the world.

Nick Leeson lost £827 million which caused Barings Bank to be eventually declared insolvent and duly sentenced to 7 years inside for his crime, a mere drop in the ocean to the crimes that have been committed by our current so called expert bankers and politicians who still enjoy the rich pickings of life with noses still embroiled firmly in the trough of greed.

Working out his 6 months notice? I expect he'll be on gardening leave long before that ends.

Maybe the Mods can set him up an account on here in advance - maybe he'll learn something while he browses for the duration... Posted Image

Now watch him pick up a top City job...probably with a bank.

Nice work if you can get it.

That bloke is very easily pleased and has low standard after reading his comment, good job he's off.

"In a statement Mr Sants said: "I am very proud of the manner in which the FSA rose to the challenge of dealing with such unprecedented turbulence across global financial markets.""

costs £1500 just to register with the FSA as a simple case, £5000 for intermediate and £25,000 PLUS if you are a complicated firm.

then theres the ongoing fees.

the first one is an online registration....they must be raking it in.
Its not a house price boom, its a credit feast and now its time for the hangover
No bankers were harmed in the making of this bailout

Your
country is at risk
if you
do not keep up repayments
on a gilt or other loan secured on it

Have you seen the glittering FSA offices in Canary Wharf? Plus I bet all the FSA staff network with all the other *ankers in that Reebok gym above Waitrose.

I keep reading the thread title as 'Santa quits the FSA' and thinking 'That explains the 'free gifts for all' approach to regulation...'
