Down my way the biggest group of immigrants doing cleaning jobs are brailians. Many seem highly educated with careers and businesses but couldn't bear the violence and mafia in Brazil. Not a country for people who like the freedom to live without razor wire and tinted window glass.

'Materialism and ego fragment our world into opposing factions and make us lose sight of the whole. Find balance, transcend the demands of the ego, see beyond the materialistic values which trap us in cycles of competition and scarcity.' (Tao de ching)
'I hold three treasures close to my heart: the first is love, the next is simplicity, the third, overcoming the ego.' (more Chinese mumbo jumbo)
It's time for a revolution that will put an end to self-serving governments and the likes of Blair , Brown and Thatcher. (barebear)

Odd that, I've only ever spent time in Manaus and a little village in the forest.
Didn't seem too bad. I'm sure I probably wouldn't go wandering around RDJ on my own though.

As you were refering to a female you should have written gostosa
Only if I'm using it in the sense declaring my like of Brazilian ladies, surely?
If I were referring to a state of bliss of my person brought on by said Brasileiras, I would use 'gostoso'?
Am I correct?

Why not buy an attractive apartment in the upscale neighbourhood of Morumbi, for example?
