HouseDog
Hi, When using an iPad mini on the forum I am constantly being pushed to the App Store to download rubbish I have not clicked on. I think you have a bug

GinAndPlatonic
iPads are meant to bug you. They are designed that way.

I think you have a bug From my limited experience of the things, you have just entered the Apple reservation - no exit without permission. bambam
It's not a bug, it's a new form of invasive and obnoxious advertising. It's Apple's fault ultimately for not having blocked what is essentially malware. But HPC shouldn't host it.
HouseDog
Investigation suggests its a known issue with some adverts which are showing on HPC http://techcrunch.com/2014/01/06/shady-app-install-ads-are-automatically-redirecting-mobile-users-to-app-store-google-play/ Edited February 27, 2014 by HouseDog

thombleached
Glad it's not just me then. This has been happening for about a month I'd say. Directs me to some 'god of war' game or something like that. Sometimes nothing for hours, then it will hapenns three times in as many thread clicks. Very annoying. However, after clearing history & cookies and data - and then clicking on advanced and deleting website data on IOS Safari I'm not getting the problem at the moment. It is a real pain in the Ase .
