Colcheter house (lot 3) struggling to get to £125K. Not quite a bargain, but it's a sign that the owners are not setting silly reserves. Let's hope that lasts. Good to see Lot 5 attracted no bidders. Strettons auction appeared to have investors buying with a similar yield possible. 8% seems too low to be considered a good investment especially on second hand houses maybe requiring work. IP Newcomer
Strettons auction appeared to have investors buying with a similar yield possible. 8% seems too low to be considered a good investment especially on second hand houses maybe requiring work. And £7,500 is a high rent for a two bed maisonette in Clacton (I suspect). I pay considerably less for a house in Ipswich. The Rendlesham auction has just got a £350K bid! But then going up in twos. Must have sunk a bit before getting an opening bid.

IP Newcomer
Could have some interesting development land not selling. All the next few seem to have planning permission of some sort. Ipswich (10) didn't get any bids. Now for Clacton (11).

Now Lot 13 is another "potential development" but this time with a house on land. Will we have a developer no show. It's struggling to get an opening bid.
