MattW
Why oh why is it that EAs try to avoid publishing interior photographs on their run down properties. I think most buyers with an ounce of common sense are not going to expect a pristine contemporary decor with these properties. Trinity St, Norwich As if the prospective buyer couldn't guess by the header what road the house is on, they take a photograph of the road sign and not one but two photos of the play area opposite the house! I don't think these things are included in the sale of the house, Mr EA!

quine
Sounds dodgy but what's the golden triangle they are referring to?
MattW
Sounds dodgy but what's the golden triangle they are referring to? The 'Golden Triangle' is really the fashionable, arty part of Norwich close to the City Centre. There is also a fabled 'Silver Triangle' where the house prices are a bit more realistic. gusset
I've no idea why this estate agent in Didcot only has house pictures with "TOO LATE" emblazoned across them... perhaps he means "too late to buy at a reasonable price"...i doubt it. --------------------------------------------------------------------- I don't have a signature yet

MattW
Check out the 8th picturehttp://www.rightmove.co.uk/viewdetails-20744858.rsp Does the squirrel come with the house or is it a subliminal message that you have to be 'nuts' to pay the asking price for this property? I don't think these things are included in the sale of the house, Mr EA! I mentioned this on another post, usually there is human misery behind such properties (death, mental illness, illness, repossession) I personally do not feel it appropriate that the internals which display this misery should be available for all and sundry to witness (and nor do the next of kin if asked). The fact is that the price will usually tell a story as to the condition.

MattW
Barn conversion home to let in North Norfolk for £650 a month. The first picture is of the building (albeit dated 2008 ). The second picture is this: Really? How bad must the interior of the house be if that's the 2nd photo choice? click

MattW
1 bed flat for sale One golden rule of photographing homes for sale is to try and photograph the actual home you are trying to sell. What the Estate Agent has done is taken a pic of a block of 3 bed maisonettes. Unless one of the maisonettes has carved it up into 2 flats (astounded if permission was given for this), then the EA has photographed completely the wrong block. The block on the left of the photograph is probably where the 1 bed flat is!
Starla
Ok, I get that there's not a lot going for the flat to photograph, but all Pic 1 tells me is that the owners should have taken the front door number off to do a proper varnish job, and Pic 2 tells me we definately don't share the same taste in artwork. http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-42933218.html
MattW
Says a lot about the property in question when the main photo on the advert is of some flowers in a ceramic brick type thing! http://www.rightmove.co.uk/new-homes-for-sale/property-28245771.html?premiumA=true As an aside, I not that the asking price has gone from £79,950 to 'POA' . This EA have been trying to sell these places for over a year now.
Habeas Domus
I think in many of these cases the photographer doesnt have the keys so is making the best of it. Now the reasons WHY they don't have the keys could be general incompetence or they could be BTLs or repos?
