The FSA confirmed no-one has been charged in connection with the investigation and that the arrest is not linked to any other investigations.His personal website describes him as a “a name to watch out for in the city” and “an expert in the UK economy” who regularly "trades millions". Raj Von Badlo (also known as Raj Shastri) promoted Hope’s scheme to a large group of investors. Over 75 investors gave £4.29 million to Hope as a result of Von Badlo’s actions. http://www.fca.org.uk/news/alex-hope-and-raj-von-badlo-sentenced-following-fca-prosecution Mr Shastri is also known as Raj Von Badlo and admitted to The Telegraph that he is currently bankrupt. "It's a long story, nothing to do with property," he said.
