UKIP for me, I actually joined the party last year  I do have some concerns about them, but I'm willing to overlook those because I utterly detest what the EU has become.

Pretty much what I have been doing recently. (Prior to the Brown/Harman/Balls nexus I just didn't vote.)

Pointless, as you are just juggling one corporate patsy for another.

As for UKIP, I'm sure they have a price.

I don't think I've ever seen anything as financially insane as Labour's scorched earth "spend it all" policy before the last election. Other than voting BNP or for Satan trying to reclaim his throne, I feel morally obliged to at least vote against them.

Yes, this was quite shocking, it did however produce the positive GDP needed going into the election.

For me it epitomised the tribal nature and sheer nastiness of the Labour Party - were they always this bad or has it become more cult like in recent years?

I have to laugh at the local election leaflets, lie upon lie, exaggeration and the usual tribalism. Unfortunately, propaganda works and not enough of the people have woken up.

Any 'decent' politician will be swallowed up by the machine.

I've voted via post for the TUSC. I had the choice between Labour, Conservatives, EDP and TUSC (listed as independent on ballot paper). - Lib dems too scared to stand here haha - after losing their deposit in the by election by 198 votes when the monster raving loony party got 198 votes!

Labour hand delivered leaflets to all postal voters in my ward, 'use your postal vote wisely and vote labour' was what the leaflet said. I'm a bit miffed that they have gone and got my details and know that I vote by post.

That is worrying.

I got a hand delivered, name-used Labour leaflet today, a sheet of utter bile and garbage, however, the of all the party machines they seem the most organised and relentless. Most won't be so informed.

I don't really support any of them. The Greens traditionally are the only party that seriously supports monetary reform, the early Ecology Party having many members from the monetary reform heyday. Since Old Labour types joined the Greens en masse after the rise of New Labour this has become sidelined by orthodox Marxists, who actually go out of their way to attack monetary reform.

Plus, I don't support the Greens because leader Caroline Lucas, I'm sorry, is the most colourless and dreary woman in politics.

UKIP, well, yes, we need to be out of the anti-democratic morass that is Europe but we don't need an even more 'pro-market' party. We've had 30 years+ of that and so called 'free marketeers' revert to their default setting of 'socialism for the rich' when push comes to shove. The only way you can have a more Dickensian market system is if you are prepared to have fascism a la Chile and Argentina under Chicago School economics.

We need a much more mixed economy again. The market is cool at making cheap laptops and DVD players but natural monopolies like utilities and public transport were much better off in public hands. Remember when ordinary people could afford rail travel? Plus health and education must be free for all - although I like the idea of Free Schools - no reason for State funded to mean State controlled. Labour are still run by the political class - if 'red' Ed was in power tomorrow he'd claim 'new realities' mean he had to carry on with, say, the privatisation of the NHS, make no mistake.

There's Respect - to be honest if they cancelled all wars, built a million council homes and nationalised public transport that would all be great stuff. But their painful political correctness - where gays and gypsies skip hand in and with muslim fundamentalists playing bouzoukis and djembes together in one happy family is all a bit bonkers.

The Liberal (not liberal democrat) party has some good policies.

Generally, though, I think street politics is the way forward - doesn't matter who's in power... they'll only act for the good of the people if they fear a brick to the head.

Of the ten who voted for 'other', what exactly do they want I wonder?

Eutopia?

Interesting to see no-one has admitted to voting for Labour yet.

I voted UKIP, but will still vote for Boris for London mayor. I'd vote for a dog-turd to keep Livingstone out.
