Van
1321 from 10107 - 13.07% Still increasing, but the rate of change in the rate of change (d^2y/dx^2 - anyone remember that?) has slowed. Agents successfully talking 13% of vendors into cutting prices each week - that's pretty impressive!
colonel faulkner
Double differentiation Van, I remember that. I seem to remember that Nixon has gone down in history as the only US president to use triple differentiation to prove that his policies were working. Something like "The rate of the rate of rate of change of unemployment has flattened". Maybe others on the forum know the detail a little better. jpjh
ok, right now on page 20 of the results a property reduced by £200,000 That must be a mistake surely. It's down to £495,000 now so a huge 28% off. If that one is a mistake then the one on page 19 with £40,000 off now down to £250,000 is a fairly large reduction at around 14%. alexays
Also to note is the number of houses on their books. The larger the number, the bigger the supply, the less being sold, the more price cuts are on the way. No Spring pick-up this year (I hope as I sold to rent- even persuaded the wife). gone west
Back to 1430 now.<{POST_SNAPBACK}> Supply now increased to 10377. Yet more sellers hoping for a spring bounce. The number of reduced price houses definitely falls on weekends (peek buying time?) but the falls have been smaller of late.
