Sheer Heart Attack
Seems like Phil Spencer did not co-present her property ramping shows after all, according to her Wikipedia profile as it is now.
Guest anorthosite
The Locationx3 entry has a link at the bottom that amused me - 'see also: real estate bubble." I added "Tulip Mania" a while ago, but no-one noticed
Guest anorthosite
She was named 91st sexiest woman by FHM Magazine in 2008, just above Cherie Blair and below Margaret Thatcher. Here's the latest comment
Nicholas Cage
I'm using Notagoodname on this, being the bad guy who keeps on adding links and undoing in a twisted Wikipedia fashion, So everyone reverts to me and includes the Panorama, New Statesman and the hat hopefully. Even though she was right, house prices did rise in Mid September 2005, however thanks to Wikipedia strangeness, that part will be removed and it will just say she will eat her hat if house prices fall. You really have to understand how wiki works to get whatever you want added, sorry to everyone I reverted but you will see currrently it is all still there with links now. So Panorama, Hat, New Statesmen will all stay cemented hopefully. Edit: And it will be the first result on Google Kirstie Mary Allsopp (31 August 1971) is a British TV presenter best known for the Channel 4 property programmes Location, Location, Location, Relocation, Relocation, Location Revisited and The Property Chain. All but the last were co-presented with Phil Spencer.Location, Location, Location has been criticised for inappropriately promoting residential property, most recently by BBC Panorama (June 2nd 2008) which identified it as one of the property programmes which has contributed to the current property bubble [1]. The New Statesman referred to her as a "property porn queen" [2] Kirstie promised to 'eat her hat' if property prices did not rise by mid September 2005 in a BBC Radio 5 interview.[3] 22 minutes in. She is the daughter of Charles Henry Allsopp, 6th Baron Hindlip and former chairman of Christie's. She has a brother Henry, and two sisters, Sofie and Natasha. She was educated at St Clotilde's School, Lechlade in Gloucestershire[4] and then Bedales School, near Petersfield, Hampshire. After spending time in India teaching English, Allsopp returned to the UK and began a series of positions, working for Country Living and Food & Homes Magazine and her mother's business, Hindlip & Prentice Interiors, and studying at Christie's. Allsopp founded Kirmir Property Search, and in 1996 founded (and joined) Garrington Homefinders. Allsopp has a son (born July 2006) by her partner, property salesman Ben Andersen.[citation needed] She was named 91st sexiest woman by FHM Magazine in 2008.[5], just above Cherie Blair and below Margaret Thatcher. [edit] Charitable activity Allsopp participated in a celebrity edition of The Apprentice in order to raise money for charity.[6] Sport Relief Does The Apprentice was part of the BBC's Sport Relief charity initiative and aired in March 2008. The other participants on "The Girls" team were Clare Balding, Jacqueline Gold, Louise Redknapp and Lisa Snowdon. Sledgehead
Somebody should add something about her ancestors: THE FALL OF THE HOUSE OF ALLSOPP : From a lecture by R. G. Anderson, High Ridge, Marchington, Uttoxeter, UK on 3 March 1998 at the Annual General Meeting of the Institute of Brewing at the Bass Museum in Burton-on-Trent. ... Allsopps were going public and had put a price of £3,300,000 on the firm ... In the event, the issue was 37 times oversubscribed. ... within 3 years, these same investors were demanding their money back at some of the most rowdy AGM's ever witnessed. Allsopps had become a laughing stock and its history for the next 20 years, as it lurched from crisis to crisis until eventually falling into the hands of the receivers in 1911, made it a byword in mismanagement .. What had gone wrong? ... A company, which by the mid-1880's had taken on Bass's mantle of the biggest brewery in the world and was seen to be prospering. But, in reality, the situation in Burton was not nearly as rosy ... Not that there was any inkling of these problems in the Allsopp prospectus. This was a very artful document. It presented the company's profits ... in such a way as to show what appeared to be continuous improvement in the business. In fact ... entirely due to the lowest raw matenal prices in living memory ... What the figures did not show was actual barrelage sold. ... a different picture, one of decline - ... Despite these figures, which of course the board knew, the company's prospectus expressed a very upbeat picture .. Prescience
I have just edited the "Location Location Location" Wiki entry, to point out that the originator of the phrase was in fact the late Conrad Hilton: and he was talking about hotels, not grubby little studio boxes. gilf
Well done that man!Would you care to elaborate on this? I think that main thing is being able to use a citation, if you can link to source or provide a file with evidence to back up what you say it stays. So just adding that she said she will eat her hat would be removed, providing a sound file of her actually saying it will stay.

Nicholas Cage
Well done that man!Would you care to elaborate on this? It's about editing, reverting and then getting a Criticism section, which hpc has succeeded in doing. Looking back through the history all the parts about BBC Panorama, New Statesman, Eat my hat were removed on each time they were entered, now they will stay because it involves reverting masses of edits. There are people paid to create and monitor then alter articles who use the same tactics, good money for 1 or 2% of them.
