"The owners of 56 Heath Road have granted a Right of Way through the gated archway of their property upon giving 7 days Notice for access for deliveries of furniture, etc. to the property, gained through the double pine doors in the living room."

Gee, thanks, being as you thought you'd make a quick buck by parcelling off this 'house' I'm sure that's the least you can do.

Google Streetview tells me number 56 looks like an 'over the passage' Victorian terraced house but with a wider passageway (probably designed around storing a horse and cart) than the one shared by 58 and 60 (the main access to this new house - 58a). The new house is in the back garden of 58. 56 are probably doing 58 a big favour.

Still, a right PITA of a house with poor access.

I was looking at the EA's description:

"The Matchbox" originally formed part of 56 Heath Road and is believed to have been a coach house and later a workshop/studio.

To flog off a house with poor access and then insist on a week's notice to get anything substantial delivered using what should have, realistically, been a shared right of way seems mean at the very least.

May they forever suffer awful neighbours for trying to cripple a young couple with debt for a house that has a future as an unsellable icon. 7 days indeed.

The spiral staircase will creak and groan and drive the buyers crazy. There will be lots of "oohs" and "aahs" until you have been up and down it a few thousand times, by which time you will be looking for a house with normal stairs.

I do hope I don't sound too negative......

Glad it's still for sale; gives you hope!

Yes, noticed it yesterday. Down to £115k now but that reassessment of the asking price is merely a drop in the ocean.

The vendor will be lucky to get £90k for it. I wouldn't buy it at any price as living in someone's back yard really doesn't appeal.

And... still not selling :-)

And no downwards movement in the asking price since 20th November, the greedy feckers. :D

No change in the rules concerning access. This is one giant red flag of a reason it hasn't sold, not so much the asking price. Potential for a neighbour dispute here. :(

They're doing themselves a favour if they don't sell it; who would buy the main house off them when it had that as an issue?

It would be worth buying that just in order to let it out to the noisiest, nastiest, smelliest bunch of meatheads Norwich has to offer just to teach the f*ckers a lesson.

That one did come up in my weekly Norwich RM search. It's so small I can't even find it on Streetview? With those dimensions I'm surprised the "owner" can find space to fill it with so much sh*te. And what's with the cover photo, I don't want to have to hold up my laptop and tip it at an angle to imagine what the house might look like.
