They will lockout the page now for sure. The entry will go back a week.

I loved wiki entry for Ronnie Hazlehurst (BBC composer) that was slipped in two weeks before his death and got reported.

I particularly like "(Krustie) was a British TV presenter...": perhaps that's too subtle to arouse the Wrath Of Wiki.
In the last few minutes I have now been banned from editing Wikipedia for 'disruptive editing'.

For telling the truth?
It sounds like they allowed you several warnings (which you ignored)

The entry is about Kirsty Allsopp.

It isn't about discussing the content of any programmes she presents.

Maybe you should have added your views to the "Location Location Location" entry on wikipedia instead.

If someone with a wiki account could do the honours. ;) Don't worry about keeping the aspect ratio when resizing it to fit in a square, I'm sure it'll look just great 'squeezed' into a square ;)

The Dishon. Kirstie Mary Allslopp (31 August 1971) is a British TV presenter best known for property ramping Channel 4 property programmes Location, Location, Location, Relocation, Relocation, Location Revisited and The Property Chain. All but the last were co-presented with her manbitch Phil Spencer. Location, Location, Location has been fiercely criticised by many for ramping property prices, most recently by BBC Panorama (June 2nd 2008) which identified it as one of the property programmes which has contributed to the current property bubble [1]. The New Statesman referred to her as a "property porn queen" [2]

She is the daughter of Charles Henry Allsopp, 6th Baron Hindlip and former chairman of Christie's out of Red Rum. She is entitled to be referred to as The Dishonourable Kirstie Allsopp, but this is rarely used. She has a brother Henry, and two sisters, Sofie and Natasha.

She was educated at St Clotilde's School, Lechlade in Gloucestershire[3] and then Bedales School, near Petersfield, Hampshire. After spending time in India teaching English, Allsopp returned to the UK and began a series of positions, working for Country Living and Food & Homes Magazine and her mother's business, Hindlip & Prentice Interiors, and studying at Christie's. Allsopp founded Kirmir Property Search, and in 1996 founded (and joined) Garrington Homefinders.

Allsopp has a son, Bay Atlas Chav Andersen (born July 2006) by her partner, property salesman Ben Andersen.[citation needed] They are now expecting a wolf.[citation needed] She was named 91st sexiest woman by FHM Magazine in 2008, in large part due to her massive mammaries.[4]

Great thread. Love the Wiki entries.

I followed the link to Phil's blog and lifted this,

One key factor behind this conclusion is that they (Halifax & Nationwide) do not include property which is deemed to be outside the conventional market, namely any property worth over £1 million, flats over 2,000 sq ft or houses over 3,000 sq ft.

In the salubrious town of Hale in Cheshire one in every twenty homes sells for £1 million or more. This is an incredible proportion of the market place to ignore.

Both the Halifax and Nationwide indices miss out on any property bought without a mortgage (estimated to be around 20-25% of all sales).

He is trying to argue the the monthly HPI (or should I say HPC) figures are not accurate but the Hale point is just nonsense and folk who can buy without a mortgage generally strike a harder bargain.

He does mention that the Halifax index is thought to lag behind the market but the feeling I get from the blog is that he is very careful with what he says whilst trying to imply that things are not as bad as they seem.

Should have read the whole blog before posting!

When buying or selling, media reports and market analysis are interesting, but a more accurate perspective will come from an experienced agent who specialises in your part of the market, in your area, and who has your best interests at heart. It is the property people, both estate agents and home finders, operating in the relevant market on a daily basis, who will often provide best advice, as they are the ones who actually see the ‘market fluctuations’.

Now I see where he is coming from. Trying to tell people not to believe what is right in front of them but instead listen to a VI who will, as Phil always does on the telly, advise them to offer the asking price. <_<

The 'you might not get it even if you offer full price' thing that went on in every one of their shows was ,to me, the most annoying part. I can't think of any other market where you would ever consider offering more than the asking price.

I cant wait to see the programme that Phil or KA says that the buyer should offer 30% less than asking price, and let the vendor mull it over for a couple of weeks.
