Nobody foresaw the credit crunch.

:lol::lol::lol:

Pity - FP wasn't given the chance to respond to that one, but a good performance anyway :)

The blonde chick must be related to Krusty....

Yes!!

FP Final word!!!

It's not a property ladder it's a property snake.

Get rid of excess property and FTB don't touch housing with a barge pole.

GET IN!!!

FP - really liked the closing line...."for those who want to get on the property ladder, beware it's a snake right now".

But I was a bit disappointed they didn't ask you about where you thought the Dow would be in a few months.

FP (Jonathan Davi), may I congratulate you on making that sow from Savills look utterly ridiculous - excellent job.

p.s. does anyone think the BBC News would show a discussion of that length and balance about house prices? Multiple choice::

1) No

2) No way

3) Not a chance.

Nice one Jonathan. "They shouldn't touch property with a bargepole"

He performed very well didn't he. That woman looked scared and nervous, and she really struggled with making her figures appear believable under the interviewers questioning. It appeared that she was making the figures up out of the air - 'A 4% drop is good she admitted, so why isn't a 40% drop better?!'

I think the HPC spokesman was quite reserved - He was probably told by C4 not to be too scary!

I'd normally have expected a bull to counterbalance the views on the show.

Perhaps they couldnt find one

Even the VI was saying 4% drop this year.

HEE HEE re:supply and demand

I demand a Bentley. But if I can't afford it then I can't buy it can I?

PS If anyone is visiting tonight for the first time, we aren't mad or dangerous, just a bit stir crazy that's all.

After the Six O'Clock News, the ITV News and Channel 4 News, I think I've had enough bear porn for now.

See you all again after Newsnight, folks.

FP, my hat is off to you. It would have been easy to gloat but you kept it straight, honest and forthright.

It's really happening, finally it's really happening. This is a massive day for the incipient HPC and I'm just going to sit back and enjoy the rest of the ride.

Top performance by FP.

The blond from Savills said that prices wouldn’t fall too much because of the huge demand.

FP said he wanted a Bentley but wouldn’t be buying one because he couldn’t afford to…

(first time I’ve seen him lie on tv)

:P

I was a little worried that he might come across abit mad doomsayer - but no it was a great performance.

Although I did detect a suppressed smile when he was telling us all we'd be bankrupt soon
