Overpriced by at least £20k

The vendors couldn't even be bothered to tidy the kitchen up. Lazy and greedy. Asking price hasn't been reduced since November (£165k).

Your very own dilapidated evil dead style shack....half a million.

OK, its a plot...but given proper houses seem to go for the same amount unless you can find builders who work for free, still pretty nutty pricing.

Garden Cottage 8 West Grove

Sold price £59,995  28 Jan 00

Looks like you have to access it through number 8. Bing birdseye view shows it well.

Good grief, the asking price is what... over 15 times the 2000 sale price. Jesus wept!

That aside, the house looks OK to me. I quite like it a bit old fashioned. :)

This is a building plot at the moment but does include the newly constructed 2 bedroomed terraced house.

£215k! The Victorian houses either side would be lucky to make £150k. The 'properties sold nearby' on the right suggests maybe less than that!

The plot would have made great off road parking for the existing houses but there isn't money to made going down that route!

I love the vendor's mindset.

Take one house apparently inspired by cold-war era bunkers, and pretend it is a cosy cottage by installing bits of MFI olde Worlde furniture.

Laid out with the anally-retentive precision of an autistic mathematician.
