^ Good grief! Owners ran out of cash to complete the build?

BTW Parkwell - Love the avatar. Is it (and your username) a reference to the Spanish Architect Gaudi?

I'd guess it was an investment gone bad. If only because I doubt anyone would build themselves a house with such an impractical floorplan. The lack of measurements in the advert speaks volumes.

I like your thinking but the Gaudi similarities are a coincidence. It's just random stuff that suits me.

It looks like the end owner built a house or sold land. Agreed the layout is a mess. I may have a look at the street view which may be pre house construction.

I think the saying goes, good enough for a renter but I wouldn't live in it.

  • I don't believe that there can be sustainable asset inflation when there is underlying wage deflation.
  • No matter what you choose to do in life, choose to do what you are best at and be the best you can be.
  • Everyone is a vested interest and everything is rigged.
  • Sometimes bubble dynamics just end, people stop believing and what was once a virtuous cycle suddenly morphs into vicious one.
  • The real value goes beyond the money.

I have come to realize that there is widespread belief in a 2015 global recovery. At this point in June 2013 is clear that there will be no recovery in 2015, central bankers have run out of tools to patch over the structural problems and the can can no longer be kicked. As we approach 2015 it will be clear that the emperor has no clothes and there will be an economic crash that makes 2009 look trivial.Note: I was wrong on 2nd May 2012 12:00 - London Top called prediction of London will fall by >10% in 12 months.

They've put windows and doors in and added 20k to the price. Still unfinished. Just waiting for that BTLer to fill it up with slaves slavs.

1 bedroom flat for sale in my old stomping ground with an asking price £85k. Given that I sold a nicer looking flat around the corner from here for £76k in 2010, describing this one as an 'overpriced Sh*thole' is perhaps an understatement!

Intriguing thing about this one is that a few months ago it was on the market for a  £70k, dropping to £64k. I wonder if it's now in the hands of a 'flipper'?  The 'do not use' tape is still across the loo seat and basin.

Someone might pay £85k for it if it was done up to a nice standard inside.
