Steppenpig
So it's true that a second knock on the head sorts it out. Best wishes, and all that.

Keep up with the miraculous recovery. I worked on a TIA database once upon a time and 'unexpected' recoveries weren't all that uncommon. Seems we are far from knowing everything that goes on up there.
council dweller
Quote Yes Maynard gravy, this is true. Though I did have haemorragic stokes......either of which should have killed me. I`m inclined to aid research but then again maybe not.

Are they sure it was a proper stroke and not a TIA?
council dweller
I was in a hospital for ward 7 weeks. I was first in the trauma ward followed by a `cleaning` ward (during which time our ward was cleaned) and finally in a stroke ward for the last 2 weeks. Then they quickly got rid of me. The neuro doctors must have made the cockups to end all cockups. Idiots in love with their own egos.

council dweller
Quote Well, having thought about it could well have been a TIA. The ambulance drivers could not find anything wrong with me so took me in to `be on the safe side`. And then one thing leads to another.. Anyway, I went for a half mile run this morning....felt good. Also I`m doing meditation (James Doty, meditate on compassion 2 or 3 times a day.) This too seems easy. Thank you Crash, Turns out, Bruce and all. Much appreciated

Aren't they supposed to help decrease the likelihood of having a stroke especially if you have already had one? Thrombrotic strokes yes. If CD had a haemorraegic stroke I think Asprin is contraindicated.
