Slowly the ship is turning  weaving...

It's 50:50 for Brexit now, just give it another few weeks...

You said that last month... Mar 21st. Another goldfish moment...

Considering the onslaught of Remain/Project Fear/Opportunism in the MSM, you must be very, very disappointed.

Chin up; tactical voting next.

That could be interesting with 32% of Conservatives in the Brexit is wrong camp.

Interesting for more reasons than just that.

Of course - look at Wales swinging Tory in the news today for example.

But that percentage is about double of what I imagined. Anybody other than Corbyn and we'd all be bracing ourselves for a very unpredictable election with UKIP haemorrhaging to the Tories and the Tories haemorrhaging to the Lib Dems.

Shock poll puts Tories ahead in Wales for historic win

EU ‘sherpas’ agree on draft Brexit guidelines

Delegates from the EU’s capitals agreed Monday on draft guidelines for the upcoming Brexit negotiations, which call for a step-by-step approach and would require divorce terms to be settled before discussion on a future trade deal.

Consensus among the so-called EU sherpas, representing the 27 capitals, sets the stage for a summit of EU leaders in Brussels this Saturday, where the draft guidelines are to be approved.

A senior EU official said the draft guidelines were agreed with only minor technical adjustments, and largely remain as initially written by officials at the direction of European Council President Donald Tusk

The guidelines put top priority on securing guarantees of citizens’ rights, and hashing out the financial terms of the U.K.’s withdrawal. They also put emphasis on the importance of border issues, particularly related to Ireland and Gibraltar. Politico

And that's it for hard Brexit. It will be as soft as EU will say.

The Lib Dems should run a pro-remain (and cannabis legalisation) platform. Brexit will still happen but they will pick up a load of ex-Tory remainers and the younger vote. Better to have a more diverse parliament than just the Tories with a huge majority (hopefully) doing the bidding of the idle rich.

It used to be the rich hiding behind the scenes reducing obstacles to their power (mainly 'government' at the expense of the poor). If Trumps America is anything to go by the future has them taking direct control ...

I didn't. Was I the only person who replied?

You had to reply. That's what people seeking attention DESPERATELY do. Well done. You couldn't be more obvious if you tried. It's a pretty poor show.

Very slow day for Brexiters, not much is going on at their side of the pond.

EU warns Britain it faces a 'bloodbath' from farmers if the Government tries to make it easier for cheap food to be imported in a trade deal with the US

The EU has warned Britain it faces a 'bloodbath' from the public and farmers that makes it easier for cheap food to be imported from the US under a new trade deal. EU Agriculture Commissioner Phil Hogan said 'hormone beef' and 'chlorine chicken' - produced in the United States which has lower food standards - would face a backlash if they arrived on British store shelves.

Hormone-treated beef and chlorine washed chicken are currently banned in Britain under European food standard rules. He slammed Trade Secretary Liam Fox for pushing to include food in any US-UK trade deal after Brexit. Daily Mail

EU Toughens Brexit Position Again With Citizens' Rights Demand

The new language delivers a blow to those in the U.K. who speculated victory in June’s snap election would make it easier for Prime Minister Theresa May to secure a better Brexit deal for Britain. The continent’s policymakers have instead signaled no interest in revising their hard-line stance aimed at ensuring the U.K. isn’t better off outside the bloc than inside it.

Serious question - what is wrong with Liam Fox ?

Was he at some point kicked in the head by a horse ? A socialist satirist, originally from Spitting Image, spinning out an elaborate ruse ?

Don't you know the grass will be greener on the other side of the Brexit. A promise is a promise, at least that's what they say.

'Liam Fox is pushing for agriculture to be included in such (UK-US trade) discussions, claiming that Americans have been eating hormone beef and chlorine chicken perfectly safely for years, so what's all the fuss about?' he said. Daily Mail

Or is he conceding everything to the US  before negotiations have even started because he's genuinely worried people will no longer be able to afford food ?

Probably best if you read the article.

However those numbers have been moving about - it was like that back in March and I'd guess the margins are too small not to be messed up by error.

A couple more percentage points though, say a 6 point swing instead of 4 and maybe that would be the beginning of a story.

I must be missing something. Opposition is not at a record high because it was 48% on the day of the referendum, and has been at 44% on two other occasions since.

Yes, I guess you must be. Quite remarkable really as the article is tiny and the chart fairly uncomplicated.

Yes, pro-Brexit was 52% on the day of the referendum, and is 44% now.

Perhaps I skipped over the bit that said "if you tilt your monitor clockwise and ignore inconvenient facts".

Well that settles it then: you're obviously reading a different article to anybody else on the internet.
