In the country of the blind, The one-eyed man is king... labour have just realised that they will be losing their "each according to their ability..to each accoring to their need" re-hash of marxism that brown was espousing and the rest of them were cheering is now in dire peril. it has been shown up to be as destructive an ideaology as it was the first time around...and after 100 years of repeating the same mistakes expecting a different result..it really is time to put this one to bed once and for all. scots vote yes, labour lose the popular vote and england is free. t'will soon be observed that even though darling and brown were the most bitter enemies, they could come together in the hour of need to fight for a common cause(saving their jobs) ...nothing at all about the common good let them have their marxist utopia north of the border if they wish..with their state appointed children's guardians( which the rest of us down south still believe ought to be the parents). we are well shot of it. Austin Allegro
Wasn't he the only prime minister to be unelected? No, there were quite a few, Callaghan and Major in recent years. Technically however there's no such thing as an unelected or elected prime minister because one votes for an MP, not a party, party leader or prime minister. People get mixed up with the American idea of voting for a President.
Austin Allegro
For some, this referendum malarkey seems to be latching on to the same blind belief in a 'better world' that we saw when Labour got elected in '97 and when Obama got elected. Why are champagne socialists always taken in by this stuff?!
