macca13
2018 DAKAR competitor and former British Superbike racer, Max Hunt, has had his licence revoked after riding an uninsured hoverboard in the street. His prosecution came on December 22, just two weeks ahead of the 2018 Dakar Rally, in which he will be competing in the HT Rally Raid Husqvarna Racing team. The 34-year-old heir to the Foxtons estate agents fortune was spotted by police overtaking pedestrians at a junction on the 10mph Airwheel device near Green Park in central London in March 2017. In court he lost his licence for 6 months and was fined for driving without insurance..

Seems harsh at first glance but he did already have 9 points and lots of recent speeding offences.

Or did the police start applying an old law that predates the invention of the device? Can't quite remember.

Shy Ted
Update out today, revenue down £16m (12%) ebitda down £10m (39%). I took these bits to mean that we'll be seeing fewer of those naff minis on the roads in future... 'In addition we will be recognising a circa GBP2m non-recurring charge as we continue to manage our cost base. we will provide an update on a number of strategic initiatives which we have been working on at our preliminary results presentation on 28 February '
