I'm assuming that the image was available via a web browser even though links to it hadn't been published? Have the police really got nothing better to do than get involved with this kind of drivel? And did the club genuinely believe it to be a police matter?

A genuine WTF moment for me.

Why the burp did Norwich post images on to a live site if they didn't want the general public to see them? Why are they so protective over their new strip...perhaps they want to eek out what they can on the existing one? Edited by Dave Beans

two things in diametric opposition:
1
The teenager, from Norwich, managed to obtain the pictures from the club's kit launch website as it was being updated.

he visited a web site.

2.
In a statement Norfolk Police confirmed they had investigated an offence of unauthorised access to computer data, under the Computer Misuse Act, after being contacted by the football club.

visiting a web site is an offence?

clearly, the boy has done nothing wrong.

Damages should ensue as his name is now mud and associated with criminal hacking, in the very same electronic world the club managed to fail to understand

I'm willing to bet Norwich City's next new strip is going to be green shorts, with a yellow top and a canary on the front.

I'm in a whole load of trouble now. Edited by Starla

I see he's a season ticket holder too. Like many/most British companies it seems that Norwich City have an innate knack for hacking off their own best customers.

Don't forget the away kit, in case they draw Brazil in the FA Cup.

(Or Watford, admittedly.)
