Bertold Wiesner set up the controversial London Barton clinic with his wife Mary Bartons in the 1940s

Only select members of the couple's friends were chosen as donors to help women conceive 1,500 babies

Two biological sons have found 18 others conceived at clinic - 12 were fathered by Dr Wiesner

A pioneering British scientist may have fathered up to 600 children at a controversial London fertility clinic he set up with his wife in the 1940s.

Bertold Wiesner is believed to have been one of the primary donors for the Barton Clinic, which helped women conceive around 1,500 babies, between the early 1940s and the mid-1960s.

Wow I bet he suffered with calluses.:lol:

Although to be honest it would appear the figure is a complete guess and it could be a lot lower.

There was a guy I was a university with who sold sperm to at least 3 different London clinics weekly for his whole 8 years of studying (undergrad + PhD). I have no idea how many children he fathered but it must have been a lot.

Crikey! This is the ultimate in narcissism, but according to Darwin, this is "success"!
