I was lectured by a primary school teacher in that sort of patronising way they do, when they think it is so obvious what they are saying – teaching by example.

Conversation:

him: lot of people out of work (knowing I am a tory supporter)

me: yes, the economy is very hard right now

him: yes, lots of people out of work, not like this under labour [knowing smirk]

(me – didn't know where to start without being rude, like unemployment is the not only consideration in the economy? Like the unemployment of the early 80s was followed by the biggest economic boom in 100 years? What about interest rates on govt bonds? The deficit? Out of control govt spending? The Greek crisis? But oh no, if you say that you're a nasty tory. So I kept quiet.)

Over the course of human history ignorance has generally been a less effective survival tool than knowledge. There are always bumps in this road (the last 13-or-so years for example), but things generally even out in the end. All we have to do is wait :)

I was lectured by a primary school teacher in that sort of patronising way they do...

I get this all the time (I'm not a tory though - I hate all parties!). I've found it to be a waste of time trying to debate things with Labour supporters as they do not listen and struggle with basic logical discussion. "The greater the ignorance the greater the dogmatism" as someone once said.

What is it with so many teachers? That's exactly how they are.

As the saying goes

"Those that can, DO! Those that can't TEACH!"

whilst at the same time earning twice what those that DO earn

Ugh, what is it with students and teachers being Labour supporters?

I get angry just thinking about it.... I certainly wouldn't be able to keep quiet, though neither would I be able to win the argument as they're so stooopid.

That's an easy one to understand. Day in, day out, they stand in front on 20-30 people who listen to their every word like it's fact. They are made listen, if they step out of line they are punished ( sort of ). The people they lecture ( i mean teach ) are children, not knowledgeable in the ways of the world, the evils the world has to offer, the social problems and injustices etc. So, the teachers are like gods in this world....they walk out of school gates are they are normal people...but they still expect everyone to believe without question what they say.

Most teachers i've met out of school are social retards, pathetic childish specimens with a over-estimation of their self worth.

Have you ever met an old school teacher you had when you went to school and seen them for what they are ( old drink bloke, badly dressed sitting in the pub ).

their final gambit is being Working Class when 9 times out of 10 (council officers, teachers, stoodents) they're not, and they earn more than you

Seems a bit harsh as a general rule(not saying it's not true of the people you've met though), but the fairly common theme with teachers I've met is just how utterly pathetic they can be with money.

+1 lol. And if they can't win the argument they thrown in the morality of it, 'How COULD you... Thatcher etc... Labour people are NICE' or words to that effect, and give you horrified stares.

It's what lefties do best. They're a bit dumb, they follow the side like it was a football team their dad favoured, they see 'working class' but fail to analyse policies and results etc etc

+1. I reckon the next major UK financing in 2017 will do it. This will likely be under a Labour Government/coalition, so all of the 'blame Thatcher' types who conveniently forget 13 years of truly, truly awful governance will get a ring side seat at the collapse of UK plc at the hands of their heroes. They will then have to share some of the pain of the UK's transition. The rest of us should really leave and find somewhere more pleasent to live. I'm off next year.

PS:

Q - Why don't Marxists/Labour trolls drink Earl Grey?

A - Because proper tea is theft.

Yeah, sorry that is a bit hash, but that's my experience. I've never met one I've liked and it'd like to converse with or be friends with.

It's really not difficult to grasp, even for Hayekians.

The tragedy is that this person gets to brainwash your children for several hours a day while you are at work toiling to pay their wages through your tax.
