Trampa501 Posted April 17, 2012 Share Posted April 17, 2012 You always wonder what his real plan is, but Richard Branson has decided now is the time to invest in Spain Branson Spain Virgin is opening a new health centre in Madrid today as part of a plan to open 45 new centres & invest over 100m€ Of course you have to look at the cities particularly in the centre and north in a different light to the south where the major unemployment and tourist resorts are. Totally different economies. International companies like Apple, LinkedIn or even the casino operators Las Vegas Sands see no drawback to investing in Spain, but it will be in a major city like Madrid or Barcelona, not in the coastal towns, nor in the agricultural heartland of Andalucia. It's another job lot by a cash strapped bank - in this case Banco Sabadell. 68,000 euros for a 2 bedroom flat with access to swimming pool and 500 metres from the Med.
